Attention Hall of Famers: Join the Fun at the Greater Victoria 2023 Annual Summit

Co-hosted by the Greater Victoria Sports Hall of Fame, the 2023 Annual Summit of the BC Sports Hall of Fame is the place to be September 14-16, especially for Vancouver Island-based Honoured Members of the BC Sports Hall and Honoured Members of the Greater Victoria Sports Hall of Fame.

It will be held at the Coast Hotel & Marina in Victoria and the Save-on-Foods Memorial Centre, home of the Greater Victoria Sports Hall of Fame.

The Annual Summit is many things but for Honoured Members, it is perhaps best personified by The Reunion at The Summit: Council of Chairs Dinner presented by the BC Sports Hall of Fame Foundation. That goes Friday, September 15^th, at 6:45 p.m. at the Coast Hotel. If there’s one event that you could attend as a Hall of Famer, make it The Reunion at The Summit: Council of Chairs Dinner.

“Our theme for the Annual Summit is built on the interplay of the shared history that helps create our identity and the inspired future that we believe can engage British Columbians and propel us to even greater heights of excellence and accomplishment in the generations to come,” said Alison Noble, Co-Chair of the Greater Victoria 2023 Annual Summit. “Giving another opportunity for Hall of Famers – from Vancouver Island and throughout British Columbia – to come together is another defining goal of the Annual Summit.”

Noble, who serves as the President & Chief Executive Officer of the BC Games Society, joins with BC Sports Hall of Famer and Trustee Gareth Rees and Murray Smith of the Greater Victoria Sports Hall of Fame Hall in leading the planning for the 2023 Annual Summit.

Among the other highlights of the 2023 Annual Summit are the Defining Moments Luncheon powered by Canadian Sport Institute Pacific, 12 noon-2 p.m. on Friday, September 15^th, the General Meeting and Community Workshops of the BC Sports Hall Network, a Hall of Fame pin presentation ceremony, Hero in You school visits, the Sport BC Community Sport Hero Awards, an Open House of the Greater Victoria Sports Hall of Fame and the actual Annual General Meeting of the BC Sports Hall of Fame Society.

Fifty per cent of all net proceeds from the Greater Victoria 2023 Annual Summit of the BC Sports Hall of Fame will be donated to the Greater Victoria Sports Hall of Fame.
