Overview

The gallery features Rick’s Man in Motion wheelchair, competitive wheelchair marathon medals, world tour memorabilia and video footage. Known to the world as the Man in Motion, Rick Hansen literally wheeled around the world in his wheelchair. Over a period of two years, he visited 34 countries and amassed a staggering 25,000 miles in his quest to raise awareness for people with disabilities and money for spinal cord research.
